Chadwick here, the tech side of things at Urology Job Search. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the annual meeting of the South Central Section of the AUA. I’m a programmer and a designer, not a doctor, so it was a very new experience for me! I didn’t know what to expect, but I had a good time, met some good people, and helped get the word out some more about what we’re trying to achieve. We had a nice booth in the exhibit hall, complete with a huge poster of our recently redesigned home page! Meghan did a great job of running things for most of the meeting, and I got to help out Friday morning, the last day in the hall. Here’s Meghan, holding down the fort: Meghan in the Booth We had a good turnout at our Resident’s Night! About 30 or so people showed up to talk with us, talk with each other, and share some drinks and tasty food. I got to meet and chat with several residents… a nice change from just emails and web pages! One lucky resident walked away with an iPad, and I think everyone walked away pretty happy. We’re hoping to host more Resident’s Nights in the future, and we hope to see you there! Where would you like to see us? Let us know in the comments.
