Just before I was about to log in to CPRS this morning to check how many “alerts” I had to go through, I saw this article from Medscape commenting on the current state of information overload we as providers are often faced with on a daily basis. This article summarizes some of the recently published findings of Murphy et al, Arch Intern Med. 2012;172(3):283-285 Good to know that some folks are starting to take a look at the time drain in medicine that is the computer.
